The March List

marchlist

It’s March now, and it’s time for me to write something new (yes sorry, you almost “died of boredom”, I’m so proud. But still… wait till you read this, maybe that would kill you).

Here is the list of things I learned in the first 9 days of March

  • in order to be killer good in something, you have to FOCUS. FOCUS-ing sounds easier than it is
  • knowledge-based curiosity is the biggest fuel to all flames, and what makes the world go round [also in this list by my opinion are - laziness, love and sex]
  • I need to work on my Russian
  • It’s cheaper to get a return plane ticket to Vienna and shop there, than spend one day, shopping the same things in Sofia
  • people need to stay a little bit hungry so they move their brain engines
  • inspiration is important…………….. and connecting with people even more so [Nokia is not enough this time, sorry]
  • most people live in their expectations-based worlds and are afraid to REALLY communicate with others. Why? Well try this to for starters: get a sheet of paper, think of a person very dear to you, who doesn’t know it. Now write everything that you feel for this person. I mean – EVERYTHING. You are aware the piece of paper will keep your secret, even with the spelling mistakes [and especially after you burn it], but still it’s not that easy to write. Or is it just me [it is very possible that it is just me]?

To continue the list:

  • people are greedy. “Greedy” leads to getting things or emotions [you probably don't need], and after getting the critical masses of those you get bored, which leads to more greed about new things. And the disappointment comes when you realize you are all out of ideas about new things. And this happens because… yes, face it – people do not have imagination strong enough to catch up with their greed-rates.
  • and stop being unnecessarily polite already! It drives me crazy. Why not try saying what you really mean instead? Here’s the trick – it will definitely get you there faster than politeness [if you make a point].
  • don’t listen to people, invent instead.
  • if you are reading this bullet… it means I didn’t erase it before publishing the post.

  1. Do you really believe that there is such a thing as communication? No, of course there is not.
What we do, me and you and everyone we know (nice film), is trying to make other people believe what we say is what we mean which is not necessarily what we really think of. Even if we say things honestly, communication happens not because we say it honestly but because you “believe” me that I am honest…

wow, I thing I should start writing just between 7 and 10 a.m. , probably my brain engines work better if I am hungry.

  2. “Communication” is the skill to use what you just described as communication (:

+ sometimes it’s hard to “make other people believe what we say is what we mean”, when very often we have no idea what happens in our own minds (: thus => the most difficult task is to know yourself (:

    So (: have a nice breakfast (:

  3. [...] I wrote something a while ago. It was something like: “think of somebody very dear to you, get a sheet of paper, and write down everything you feel for that person. It’s not that easy, is it?”. [...]
